Nursing

A charge nurse system (Three-shift system with multiple nurses working the night shift) is offered.
Accompanying is not necessary.
If you wish to be accompanied at your convenience, please consult with the head nurse of each ward.

Visiting Hours

Every day from 13:00 to 19:00

Visitors must register in the visitor's book and wear a visitor's badge at the Visitor's Desk (13:00~17:00) located at the main entrance, or at the New Wing Entrance Security Office (17:00~19:00). In addition, please give the name of the patient at the nurse's station in each ward. Please talk with visitors in the day room of each ward as much as possible.

Examination Guide

Going out and Staying out overnight

Please consult with your doctor if you wish to go out or stay overnight.
When leaving or returning from an outing or overnight stay, please hand in the Outing/Overnight Stay Application Form to the ward nurse.

Amenities

  • Large-screen TV (free of charge) in the common day room
  • Telephone room for common use
  • Individual light fixtures, small desks, bedside tables, and televisions (with prepaid hospital cards) for each motorized bed
  • Refrigerator, telephone, and fax machine in each room
  • Bath with a view
  • Library volunteers (Kodama-no-Kai) visit the wards once a week and lend out books and videos.(see Volunteer Information
  • Patient library "Koyama Bunko"with medical books and other materials is available.
